ゴアとカスタムの融合による新しいCLASSIC
ロイヤルエンフィールドは「ゴア」の文化とボバースタイルを融合させた新型モデル、GOAN CLASSIC 350 を発表。インド東部のビーチリゾート地ゴアで育まれた、ゆったり過ごす人々の価値観＝Susegad（セスガド）をライディングスタイルに置き換え、伝統的なCLASSIC 350 のスタイルに自由奔放な表現を加えた形となる。クラシックなフォルムを保ちつつ、高いハンドルや短めのフェンダー、力強いリア周りのデザインなど、見る者の意表を突く個性を携えている。
エンジンとシャシー：走りと乗り心地へのこだわり
GOAN CLASSIC 350 の心臓部には、熟成を重ねた 349cc の空冷単気筒 SOHC Jシリーズエンジンを搭載。最高出力 14.9kW（20.2PS）、最大トルク 27Nm という仕様で、街中、峠道、さらには海岸線といった変化に富む道でも滑らかで力強い走りを実現。シャシーにはツインダウンチューブ・スパインフレームを採用し、フロントには 41mm 正立式テレスコピックフォーク、リアには６段階プリロード調整機構付きのツインショックを装備した。前後ホイールはそれぞれ 19インチ／16インチのチューブレス・スポークで構成し、ホワイトウォール・タイヤを備えることで、モダンとレトロの調和を図っている。
装備とカラー：旅人のための快適性と表現力
GOAN CLASSIC 350 は長旅にも耐える人間工学設計の低めのフローティング・シートを採用し、タンデム走行にも対応。シングルシートとダブルシートを簡単に切り替え可能なリアシートがボルトオンで取り付け可能で、用途に応じて使い分けられる。灯火類は LED 化され、ヘッドライトの上にタイガーアイと呼ばれるパイロットランプを装備。速度計などのメーター類はレトロな外観を保ちつつ、ギアポジション・燃料残量などデジタル表示をインサート。トリッパーという目的地表示可能な簡易ナビ機能付きで、USB-C ポートもハンドル周りに標準装備した。カラーは「Shack Black」「Rave Red」「Purple Haze」「Trip Teal」の四種が揃い、それぞれ個性的なグラフィックや色彩でオーナーの表現欲を刺激する仕様となっている。
価格・受注開始・市場展開の見通し
GOAN CLASSIC 350 は 2025年9月18日から日本国内の正規販売店で受注を開始。価格は税込で 749,100 円から、上位グレードになると 755,700 円となる。日本仕様はタンデムシート付き。発売後はスタイルや性能で CLASSIC シリーズの新しい選択肢として注目を集める見込み。ロイヤルエンフィールドはこのモデルを通じて、クラシックバイクの枠を超えた旅への一体感と個性を求めるライダーに訴求したい意図を鮮明にしている。
