一條 厚 / Atsushi Ichijo

1948年岩手県盛岡産まれ。4年のフリーター浪人経て7年後1978年東京藝術大学工芸科へ大学院染織専攻修了。
作家落伍しデザイナーへ。（株）GK インダストリアルデザイン研究所入社。
1980年GK デザインインターナショナル（LA）出向。
2012年（株）GK ダイナミックス 代表取締役社長。
2018年退職自由業。
美しいデザインの示唆は自然界と人間にあり。
手がけたモデルへの想いから使う人々に興味を抱き、世界各地のオーナーとその地を走り語り「生き延びるデザインとは」を追思考する。

Atsushi Ichijo
1948_Born in Morioka, Iwate Prefecture.
1978_ After working as a “freelancer” for 4 years, entered the Department of Crafts at Tokyo University of the Arts 7 years after graduating from high school.
1978_ Completed the graduate course in textile dyeing and weaving. Failed to become an artist and became a designer.
1978_Joined GK Industrial Design Laboratory, Inc.
1980_ Seconded to GK Design International (LA).
2012_ President and Representative Director of GK Dynamics Inc.
2018_Retired. Became a free-lance designer.

The inspiration for beautiful design lies in the natural world and human beings.
He is interested in people who use motorcycles because of his passion for the motorcycles he has worked on, and he has been traveling around the world with owners to talk about the design that can survive.
